About Us
We are Tom and Amy. We have been with the breed since 2007 when we purchased our first dog, Otis. We got into this breed after a lot of research. Tom's family grew up with various types of bulldogs, one of which suffered from debilitating health problems. At that time, Tom decided he wanted to breed and show bulldogs but he did not want to deal with unhealthy dogs. After researching the different types of bulldogs, he found the Olde English Bulldogge. He noticed that they are healthier and more athletic than the English Bulldog with a similar temperament and disposition. After looking into the different breeders, we decided to go with one of the breeders in the OEBKC which breeds from the original stock instead of getting a dog from a local breeder that uses an open registry. We obtained Otis from Millennium Bulldogges in Canada and have enjoyed every minute of him since.
In 2008, we looked into other OEBKC breeders and chose to get a female from Bulldogge Ranch in Florida. Bulldogge Ranch's Chili Pepper has developed very nicely and was chosen to be a complement to Otis. We are planning to breed Pepper to Otis in the Spring of 2011. Our dogs live with us in the house and are not kenneled outside. We are small and have only the two dogs for now, so we will only be breeding on a limited basis. From the first month that we have owned these dogs, we have been actively promoting the breed through dog shows with the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA). Both our dogs are conformation Champions.
We truly love this breed and our dogs. We hope you love them too.
